Digital Rowing has announced the launch of RowPro Version 3.
RowPro 3 brings a host of new features, including 3D live water, multi-crew boats online, more flexible training plans, improved analysis tools and more languages.
"RowPro 3 is a major milestone for RowPro and the RowPro community" says Digital Rowing President Pete Loeffen. "We have been working on version 3 for over a year now, including months of pre-release testing by a group of our most active online rowers. Also the core v3 technologies are being used in the RowBox currently touring World Rowing regattas."
The centerpiece of RowPro 3 is the stunning 3D on-water rowing course, now featuring live water with oar puddles, boat wakes, gentle surface ripples and moving reflections. "People just stop and stare at it when we're at exhibitions" says Pete Loeffen.
RowPro 3 also includes an important breakthrough in Online Rowing - multi-crew boats. This enables schools, universities, gyms and the on-water rowing community world-wide to row with each other online in 1x, 2x, 4x or 8x boats.
"There has been huge interest in multi-crew boats online" says Pete Loeffen. "Already there are groups of schools and universities working on developing online activities using RowPro, and we expect this to expand rapidly with the release."
RowPro 3 also expands the training plans and analysis tools available, and adds German and Spanish to the existing English and French languages. "We have had many customer requests to expand the training and analysis" says Pete Loeffen, and we intend to continue developments along that path. We also warmly welcome German and Spanish speakers to a better RowPro experience. Willkommen! Saludos!"
