The release of RowPro 2.3 completes the 2.2x beta series

With the release of RowPro 2.3 the 2.2x beta series is now completed. If you were part of the beta series, it's now time to move to the new RowPro 2.3 release. To do this, please follow the steps in the next section below.

For Online Rowing in particular, there are many changes, fixes and improvements in 2.3 compared to 2.205 beta. You can see a full list of the changes here.

Please do not continue to use the beta software, particularly for Online Rowing. The beta has a number of issues that can intrude on the running of sessions and will potentially disrupt other people rowing online. At this stage the beta can still technically be used for Online Rowing, however soon we will block the beta out so it can't interfere with online sessions.

We welcome your final comments on the beta forum and thank you very much for participating in the beta testing.

Moving your copy of RowPro out of beta

If you have installed one of the RowPro 2.2x beta versions, to move out of beta to the new RowPro 2.3, download and run RowProSetup.exe from the Download Center. This will:

1. Upgrade your RowPro 2.0x (that was co-installed with the beta) to 2.3.
2. Remove the beta, except your beta database.

The first time you start RowPro after upgrading to 2.3, RowPro will detect your beta database and will merge your beta database back into the RowPro 2.3 database so your rowing done using the beta is not lost.

That's all there is to moving out of beta. You can now go ahead and use RowPro 2.3.
