Nov 2002

Digital Rowing Inc. incorporated as RowPro development nears commercial release.

Feb 2003

Digital Rowing opens office in Boston, MA. and launches RowPro 1.0 at CRASH-B in Boston.

Nov 2004

Online Rowing system released and a new era begins. Over the following years, RowPro users row more than 500 million meters online and over 100,000 boats cross the online finish line.

Mar 2005

Rowfile Library opens for saving and exchanging past workouts and races. Over the following years, tens of thousands of stroke-by-stroke results from CRASH-B and BIRC events become available in the Rowfile Library.

Feb 2007

Digital Rowing releases RowPro 2.0 for Windows Vista at CRASH-B in Boston.

Sep 2008

Online Rowing system replaced with a completely new next-generation system. The Online Rowing community immediately starts growing at over 100% year-on-year.

Sep 2009

Digital Rowing releases RowPro 3.0 for Windows 7. The live water feature with its realistic reflections and ripples is an instant hit with RowPro users. RowPro now runs in English, French, German and Spanish languages.

Dec 2009

First ever online Race Night Series begins as a collaborative effort between Digital Rowing and Concept2 UK. Over the following years people all over the world join the monthly racing action.

Nov 2010

A special version of RowPro features in the RowBox at the World Rowing Championships at Lake Karapiro, New Zealand. This follows an 18-month worldwide tour by the RowBox to World Rowing Regattas at Henley UK, several locations around Europe, the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston USA, and many schools and rowing clubs around New Zealand.

Digital Rowing releases its next-generation website at www.digitalrowing.com.
